One of the things we love here at 5KC is being able to give something back to our local community and also to our online visitors. In the Northwest, we are sometimes tagged as good Liverpool builders, or even good Liverpool plasterers. We cover all areas of the Northwest and take on most areas of construction, building and plastering; Liverpool, being one of the cities that we take on a great proportion of our work.
As a native Liverpudlian, and a great lover of my hometown, I can honestly say that I am quite flattered that 5KC is considered to be a good Liverpool builder.
You are reading this page because you have probably and hopefully found some useful content via one of the search engines, or maybe, you have even been sent a link to our site by a friend or other. Whichever the case, 5KC has put this blog together to offer a little advice and guidance to those of you who are even remotely interested.
Each week, we will feature new tips on various building procedures to help and guide you with your building endeavours. Later this week, we will explain the technique of creating a wall opening or more commonly known as a ‘knock through’, so that you may have a better understanding of the structural element involved.
5KC stresses though, that removal of any part of a load bearing wall should only be carried out by competent and experienced persons. Your local building inspector will also be keen to check on work as it progresses. Not all walls are load bearing but if in doubt you should speak to a qualified builder or even structural engineer. 5KC Limited have a vast amount of experience in this field and also have our own structural engineer on board to assist with structural calculations etc. You can visit the main page of our site at 5KC
If you live in Liverpool, or in fact, any surrounding areas of the Northwest, we would be happy to come out and advise you on your building project. OK, plug out the way!!!
